Technical Sales Engineer


  • Holding presentations and live demos of software solutions to telecom and other enterprise customers
  • Structuring and preparing technical sales proposals and RFP/RFI responses
  • Developing and configuring proof-of-concept projects
  • Driving technical relationship with customers, acting as a technical account manager while focusing on business development opportunities
  • Close cooperation with internal sales, operations and development teams
  • Delivering technical consulting and training to the sales team, customers and partners
  • Based in Zagreb, Croatia. International business travel to attend client meetings


  • Master/Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology or a comparable technical degree. Or relevant working experience in software development, integration or sales
  • Ability to work and think on the academic level. Highly developed analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Combination of technical expertise and sales/people skills
  • Self-starter, proactive, creative, with initiative and a positive, enthusiastic, can-do attitude
  • Willing to work and travel flexible hours to suit customer requirements
  • Advanced written and oral English: Ability to autonomously give presentations to a large client audience
  • Ability to autonomously write up technical sales proposals

Desired (non-required)

  • Three to five years of relevant professional experience in a technical sales engineering role
  • Understanding of telecom infrastructure concepts and architecture
  • Experience in the software development industry
  • Mastery of a second foreign language
