Business Development Manager / Sales Manager


Our growing company is seeking to hire a regional Business Development Manager (m/f) who will be part of the core team which would be responsible for the next stage of Bulb’s progress and expansion on the new markets. Main Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop and oversee the overall business development strategy for regional market (Croatia and neighboring countries)
  • Development of proper product and market positioning
  • Identify and prioritize target market segments and use cases
  • Identify and develop new accounts and follow up on sales leads and opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and potential accounts
  • Initiate and manage RFI and RFP process and negotiate terms
  • Build strong relationships with partners, industry professionals, competitors and vendor
  • Work collaboratively with the Professional Services organization to ensure a complete and professional delivery of software and service solutions
  • Work collaboratively with marketing team on development of proper marketing strategy
  • Develop and organize sales partner network
  • Attend various business events and conferences
  • Manage expansion of the business development team


Qualifications (required):

  • 5+ years of experience in business development or/and sales of enterprise software products and solutions
  • Full sales cycle experience is required: Prospect, Identify opportunities, Propose Solutions (writing proposals), Negotiate, Close
  • of potential markets and supply chains (Banks, Insurances, Telecommunications, Public, etc.)
  • Understanding of competitive environment (software platforms for process automation and digital transformation)
  • Strong written and verbal Croatian and English language skills; quality-oriented proposal writing and proposal management experience
  • networking, communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent command of MS Office and CRM tools
  • Willing to travel throughout the region and EU
  • Ambitious, driven and self-motivated personality adaptable to a fast paced and dynamic organization

Qualifications (highly preferred):

  • Experience in sales of software solutions for following market segments: Banks, Insurances, Telecommunications, Public, Utility, Healthcare, Hospitality
  • Experience in sales of software solutions for business process automation, customer service operations and digital transformation
  • Background in Software as a Service (SaaS) and cloud software market
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering
